Job summary

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited in Alberta is seeking an Agricultural Equipment Operator to join our Grain & Crop Inputs division. The role involves operating and maintaining agricultural equipment, transporting and applying crop protection products, and handling loading/unloading of seeds, fertilizer, and chemicals.

The successful candidate will have farm or equipment experience, a valid Class 1 driver’s license with air brake endorsement, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and

Qualifications

• Experience working on a farm or with agriculture equipment is required.
• Experience in mechanical repair and general maintenance of equipment.
• Valid Class 1 driver’s license with air brake endorsement and several years driving experience.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the position and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexible work schedule (extended hours may be required).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain agricultural equipment and yard.
• Transportation and application of crop protection products (sprayer/floater).
• Load and unload seed, fertilizer, and chemicals.
• Maintain equipment through upkeep and routine maintenance.
