• Willingness to travel/out-of-town work for short periods.
• Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Testing is required.

Responsibilities

• Support crushing operations around crushers, conveyors, and screening equipment.
• Assist with belt clean-up, spillage removal, and material flow maintenance.
• Perform general labour tasks such as shoveling, scaling, and site cleanup.
• Monitor equipment and communicate issues to Foreman/Lead Hand.
• Maintain safe, organized work areas and follow lockout/tagout procedures.

Reporting to the Crusher Foreman, Crushing Labourers play a critical role in supporting daily operations at crushing pits in Black Diamond. This is a physically demanding, outdoor position suited for individuals who enjoy teamwork, working around heavy equipment, and contributing to high-production environments.

How You'll Add Value

• Actively contribute to the safety culture, promoting a safe and productive work environment
• Support crushing operations, including working around crushers, conveyors, and screening equipment
• Assist with belt clean-up, removing spillage and maintaining material flow
• Perform general labour duties such as shoveling, scaling, and site clean-up
• Monitor equipment and communicate any issues to the Foreman or Lead Hand
• Assist with moving and organizing materials across the pit as required
• Work safely around heavy equipment such as loaders, crushers, and haul trucks
• Follow lockout/tagout and safe work procedures when working near equipment
• Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas
• Assist with routine maintenance and daily cleaning of crushing equipment
• Follow direction from Foremen and Lead Hands to meet production and quality targets

What You Bring

1 + years of labour experience in a construction, aggregate, or crushing environment (preferred)

Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a Driver's Abstract showing no more than 6 demerits and no major infractions

Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions

Comfortable working around heavy equipment and in high-noise, dusty environments and operating rubber tire Loader (CAT 980)

Willing to travel and work out of town for short, fixed periods, as needed
