Air Inuit is seeking a Certified Stores Agent in Montreal to manage aviation parts, ensure airworthiness standards, and support AOG situations. You will mentor junior staff, maintain inventory integrity, and ensure accurate documentation using WINAIR and D365.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in aviation materials control.

• Ability to obtain Airport Security Clearance (RAIC) and airside driver’s permit.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Certified Stores Agent, you will report to the Stores Supervisor and the Aviation Stores Warehouse Manager. You will be responsible for the accurate handling, documentation, and movement of aviation parts and materials. In this hands-on role, you will ensure compliance with airworthiness standards, support urgent Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations, and maintain strong inventory integrity. You will also mentor and support junior Stores Agents by providing guidance and oversight, while playing a key role in managing parts logistics and maintaining database accuracy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support, mentor, and assist junior Stores Agents to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Receive incoming parts, verify quantities, inspect condition, and confirm certification documentation.
• Prepare outbound shipments with proper packing and documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely updates in the WINAIR and D365 database.
• Review parts picklists and update the database system (WINAIR, D365) as required.
• Review documentation for unserviceable parts to ensure completeness and compliance.
• Process unserviceable materials.
• Coordinate and expedite shipments and pickups.
• Issue and re-stock parts required for maintenance and operations.
• Assist with urgent Aircraft on Ground (AOG) service requirements.
• Review and process dangerous goods shipments to ensure shipments meet DG requirements.
• Review and assist with Calibration and shelf-life sensitive reports.
• Perform other tasks assigned to support departmental and company objectives.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU AN IDEAL CANDIDATE

• High school diploma.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in aviation materials control.
• Familiarity with certification and airworthiness requirements for aviation materials.
• Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Airport Security Clearance (RAIC) and airside driver’s permit.
• Physically capable of loading and unloading shipments.
• Strong organizational skills, initiative, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Leadership qualities and experience supervising or mentoring team members.
• Flexible schedule; may include 5-5-4 rotation (day/night shifts) or Monday–Friday day shift.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to northern locations.
• Fluency in French and English.

COMPENSATION

• Salary and benefits are determined in accordance with the corporate policy .
• Entry hourly salary - $23.38
