Qualifications

• 3-5 years of management experience in the insurance industry or related business.
• Post-secondary education in a related field.
• Life licence and General Insurance licence; Mutual Funds licence a plus.
• CFP, CLU, CHFC or accredited Financial Planning Designation completed.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting new clients to discuss risk management and financial goals.
• Cultivating strong community relationships to increase agency visibility.
• Developing business, operational and marketing plans for growth and sustainability.
• Recruiting and mentoring staff, and managing performance to meet agency goals.
• Ensuring licences and compliance with policies, standards and regulations.
