Qualifications

• 3-5 years of management experience in the insurance industry or related business.
• Post-secondary education in a related field.
• Life licence and a General Insurance licence; Mutual Funds licence is an asset.
• CFP, CLU, CHFC or Accredited Financial Planning Designation.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting new clients to discuss risk management and financial goals with reviews to empower informed decisions.
• Cultivating community relationships to increase agency visibility and drive new business.
• Developing and executing business, operational and marketing plans to support sustainability strategies.
• Recruiting, coaching and mentoring staff, and managing performance to achieve agency goals.
• Ensuring licences and ethical compliance in line with policies and regulations.
