Job summary

Science North is seeking a dedicated Science Demonstrator for its After-School Science Kids Program in Sudbury, ON. This part-time role runs 3:00pm–6:00pm on weekdays, offering hands-on science activities both in the centre and nearby venues.

A strong love of science and ability to engage children are essential. You will help students with activities, support homework, and contribute to a licensed after-school program aligned with Ministry requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Submit a Vulnerable Sector police check.
• Have a standard first aid certificate including infant and child CPR level C.
• Provide proof of up-to-date childhood immunizations as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Engage in hands-on science activities (inside and outside the science centre).
• Complete homework and support participants during sessions.
