Canusa Automotive Warehousing Inc. is hiring an Afternoon Shift Warehouse Team Member (Material Handler) in London, ON. The role focuses on reliably picking and receiving stock, scanning parts, preparing skids, processing returns, and maintaining warehouse organization.

You will support inventory control and operate equipment as needed. We seek a team player with a positive attitude, able to perform physically demanding work (10–50 lbs), and with basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience is an asset.
• RF Scanner experience is an asset.
• Experience with machinery (Walkie/Order Picker/Reach) is an asset.
• Strong math and understanding of units of measure.
• Good computer skills (Outlook, databases).
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to lift 10–50 pounds; physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Support all warehouse duties: picking, receiving, inventory control, shipping, stocking.
• Help manage inventory and ensure product availability.
• Complete warranty forms and related paperwork accurately.
• Load auto parts onto delivery vehicles safely.
• Follow safety practices and ergonomic guidelines.
• Sort items in alphanumeric order and assist with other duties as needed.
• Operate warehouse equipment when required.

Position Title: Afternoon Shift Warehouse Team Member (Material Handler)

Number of Vacancies: 3

Type of Employment: 12-month contract transitioning intofull-time permanent

Compensation: Starting at $19.00/hour (wage includes $1.00/hour premium) based on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package

Hours

• Monday to Friday 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
• Saturday 8:00am – 12:00pm (filled by volunteers or in reverse seniority order)
• *Occasional overtime work may be available/required depending on business needs

Position Summary

The primary objective of this role is to reliably pick and receive incoming stock, scan and stock automotive parts, prepare skids, process returns, support inventory control, operate equipment or maintain the warehouse organization and cleanliness.

Key Requirements and Experience

• Warehouse experience an asset (e.g. picking, receiving, shipping, inventory control and maintenance)
• Customer service experience an asset
• Experience and certifications on machinery an asset (e.g. Walkie, Cherry Picker/Order Picker, Reach, Counterbalance)
• RF Scanner experience an asset
• Strong basic mathematical skills and understanding of basic units of measure
• Strong basic computer skills (e.g. ability to use Outlook, online database and web-based training)
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
