Job summary

The Town of Banff invites applications for a Casual/Permanent Children & Youth Program Leader to support the Out of School Club. You will deliver activities, provide care, and help Banff’s school‑aged residents grow and connect with their community.

Shifts run Mon-Fri ~2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with possible full days during holidays. Starting wage is $24.00/hour, plus provincial top-up where eligible. Closing Date: October 11, 2026.

Qualifications

• Childcare experience with school-age children.
• Willingness to obtain Alberta Childcare Certification on hire.
• Ability to engage children through structured and unstructured play.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a diverse range of activities after school and during school holidays.
• Provide developmentally appropriate care for children.
• Collaborate with families, staff, and the community.
