Placements24 is seeking a responsible and engaging Part-time Childcare Provider to assist with after-school care in Kimberley, Canada. The role is afternoons, with the opportunity to positively impact children in a family setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or similar roles.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy demeanor.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assist with primary school homework.
• Must have own reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet children at school and ensure their safe arrival at home.
• Supervise homework completion and provide gentle academic assistance.
• Engage children in creative play, games, and age-appropriate activities.
• Prepare healthy snacks and ensure children have access to drinks.
• Maintain a safe and tidy environment for the children.
• Communicate daily updates to parents regarding the children's activities and well-being.
