Job summary

Rocky View Schools in Alberta seeks a dedicated Caretaker I to perform routine cleaning duties at Bow Valley High School. This full-time position follows a Monday to Friday after-school schedule, with occasional 1-2 day shifts per month.

Under supervision, you’ll maintain clean, safe spaces for students and staff, conduct basic security checks, and follow health and safety policies while working both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in cleaning tasks and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Clear written and verbal communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks and housekeeping of school buildings.
• Maintain contents and furnishings in a clean, tidy, sanitary condition.
• Conduct building security checks as scheduled by supervisors.
• Follow Occupational Health & Safety, WHMIS and related regulations.
