Job summary

Twice as Nice Recruiting is seeking a hands-on Quality & Inspection Manager for a regulated aerospace manufacturer near Brampton, ON. You will lead a quality team, oversee shop-floor inspection, and manage non-conformances while ensuring AS9100 compliance and customer satisfaction.

You will review drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and dimensional results, partner with Operations and Engineering on improvements, and stay technically involved in audits and shop-floor activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quality experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• 3+ years of supervising or leading quality teams.
• Hands-on inspection experience with machined components.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Quality team.
• Set inspection priorities and resolve technical quality issues.
• Support AS9100 certification, customer and internal quality audits.
• Manage NCRs, root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Review drawings, GD&T, tolerances and dimensional inspection results.
• Validate inspection findings and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate with customers on quality concerns and corrective actions.
• Make product acceptance, rejection and conformity decisions.
• Partner with Operations and Engineering on quality improvements.
• Support the development and launch of new products and processes.
• Maintain Quality processes while remaining active on the shop floor.
