Job summary

Latecoere Aerostructures Canada is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product and process conformance with the company QMS and aerospace standards. You will collaborate across Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Program and Supply Chain to deliver conforming products on time and at target costs.

The role emphasizes non-conformance management, root-cause analysis, corrective actions and customer documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in a technical discipline; aerospace experience preferred.
• Co-ops or internships welcomed; two to three years of quality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products and processes comply with approved drawings, specs and quality standards.
• Provide day-to-day Quality Engineering support to Production and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Review documentation for compliance and completeness; interpret drawings and requirements.
• Support non-conformance management and corrective actions; participate in MRB.
• Maintain First Article Inspection documentation per AS9102 where applicable.
• Monitor quality trends and support continuous improvement initiatives.
