Job summary

Magellan Aerospace has a full-time permanent Machinist position at our Winnipeg, MB manufacturing plant. You will set up and operate CNC and conventional milling, turning, EDM, and Laser machines, following instructions and TPM checklists to maintain quality.

Ideal candidates read blueprints, apply GD&T, and perform basic math; strong English communication and safety compliance are required. Red Seal Machinist or CCAA accreditation is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret and apply GD&T requirements and perform basic mathematics.
• Ability to correctly interpret blue prints.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work within specified safety requirements (PPE).
• Red Seal Machinist or Canadian Council for Aviation Aerospace (CCAA) accreditation is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates CNC and conventional milling, turning, EDM, and Laser machines according to applicable work instructions.
• Performs tasks on the equipment as defined on the TPM check list.
