Job summary

Qualifications

• Four years or more shipping/receiving experience with supervision of union staff.
• Demonstrated leadership, strong communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage changing priorities and collaborate with HR and production.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements; Nadcap/ISO familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise material handlers in receiving, outbound shipments and loading/unloading.
• Coordinate Receiving Inspection staff and ensure prompt inspection and movement to Stores.
• Oversee internal transport from dock to stock and align with production schedules.
• Control freight, duties and brokerage costs within approved budgets.
• Maintain safety, traceability, and accuracy of shipping/receiving records.
• Support HR in timekeeping, hiring, performance and disciplinary actions.
