Job summary

Latecoere Aerostructure Canada (Avcorp Industries Inc.) in Delta, BC, seeks a Site Controller to lead Delta’s manufacturing finance operations and finance team. You will report to the Head of Finance, collaborating with the GM, LAC Delta, and Operations on reporting, cost control, forecasting and overall financial performance.

The role emphasizes period-end close, internal controls, budgeting, and government contract accounting, with a salary range of $85,000–$135,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA certification is preferred.
• At least 10 years of relevant accounting, reporting, internal control and audit experience.
• Aerospace/industrial experience and manufacturing exposure in a $100M–$200M business is preferred.
• Strong cost accounting, Canadian GAAP and IFRS knowledge; government reporting and ERP integration/implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead period-end close, financial statements, management reporting and filings; maintain general ledger and COA.
• Maintain internal controls; integrate manufacturing data; improve inventory accuracy and cost collection.
• Analyze program costs, labor reporting, variances; work with Operations to improve margins.
• Oversee government contract accounting, including CAS and FAR requirements.
• Lead annual budgets and rolling forecasts; explain financial issues to non-finance leaders.
• Support audits; provide evidence and resolve findings.
