Job summary
Pratt & Whitney Canada in Longueuil is seeking a highly experienced Logistics Manager to lead material flow and customer engagement at our aircraft engine assembly site. You will ensure on-time delivery and align with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Procurement.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field and 8+ years in logistics or operations, with ERP/MRP knowledge and lean manufacturing experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of logistics, supply chain, or operations management experience.
- Experience with lean manufacturing and mixed-model assembly is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Act as primary liaison between the assembly site and internal customers.
- Provide visibility into delivery status, risks, and recovery plans.
- Ensure end-to-end material flow from FSLs to the assembly line to meet schedules.
- Monitor logistics performance including shipments, inventory, and transport efficiency.
- Lead daily coordination meetings with production, supply chain, and customers.
- Resolve bottlenecks and mitigate risks to on-time delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement in material planning, warehouse operations, and logistics.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
