Job summary

RTX is seeking a Deburr Technician – BHT in Oakville, Ontario to support the production schedule and quality requirements for landing gear components. The role involves deburring, filing, polishing and cleaning to drawing specifications, with a focus on safety and precision.

Work shifts run weekend nights (Friday-Sunday, 6:00 pm–6:00 am). Candidates must have 1–3 years of deburring experience and be able to read micrometers. Ontario work eligibility and ITAR/CCGP compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, with a minimum of 1-3 years of current deburring experience.
• Demonstrated ability to read micrometers / verniers; prior deburr experience is essential
• The selected candidate has to be eligible to work in Canada; successful candidate must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP

Responsibilities

• Perform ti-etch, deburring, filing, polishing, and cleaning of landing gear components as specified.
• Occasionally support robotic deburring processes.
• Support quality initiatives by performing operator self-verification (OSV).
• Operate overhead cranes to move large parts.
• Participate actively in LEAN and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Support rework & surface finishing parts as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
