Job summary

RTX is seeking a Process Technician – Painter/Masker/Sealer for our Oakville, Ontario facility. You will prepare and spray primer and topcoat, apply sealant to bushings and components, and perform masking and finishing tasks on aircraft parts assembled on site.

The role requires 2+ years in painting or sealant work, a high school diploma, and the ability to work the weekday night shift. Strong teamwork and safety mindset are essential in this fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years painting or sealant experience.
• Eligible to work in Canada; ITAR/CCGP requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Load, fixture, and unload parts.
• Paint, demask, and perform touch-ups.
• Mask, sand, and clean facilities and components.
• Apply sealant to aircraft parts and controls.
• Maintain booth and equipment in good condition.
• Follow setup sheets and drawings for manufacturing.
• Record quality logs and report discrepancies to supervision.
• Support 5S and continuous improvement in the cell.
• Participate in cross‑functional training as needed.
• Perform TPM and machine checklists as assigned.
