Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with a strong background in precision machining to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with both mill and lathe operations, including 5-axis CNC machining. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of interpreting blueprints, setting up equipment, and performing high-precision machining tasks. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of work experience in Canada and be eligible to work in Canada. Must be eligible for Controlled Goods & Contract Security clearance
What You’ll Be Doing
-Set up and operate CNC Mills & Lathes (both required)
-Work with 5-Axis CNC machines (mandatory)
-Independently manage setups, tool offsets, and program adjustments
-Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings
-Work with Fanuc and Siemens controllers (preferred)
-Perform quality control checks using precision measuring instruments
-Troubleshoot and optimize machining processes
What We’re Looking For
-3–5 years of machining experience (Aerospace preferred)
- Experience handling multiple machine setups per shift
-Ability to work independently on night/afternoon shifts when needed
-Background in tool selection, fixture setup, and offsets
-Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
-Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship OR equivalent experience (Trade Certification preferred but not required)
-Must be eligible for Controlled Goods & Contract Security clearance
