Job Summary

We are seeking a Blow Mold Set Up Technician based in Mississauga, ON. This role involves maintaining blow molds and machines, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting production processes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate blow moulding machines according to specifications.
  • Change molds, tooling, and adjust equipment during production line changeovers.
  • Monitor product quality and adjust machine settings as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment.
  • Follow proper moulding processes and safety procedures.
  • Maintain inventory and cleanliness of work area and equipment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and safety protocols.
  • Assist production team and ensure availability of spare parts.
Job Qualifications
  • Secondary school diploma; post-secondary education in plastics or manufacturing is a plus.
  • Experience in manufacturing (minimum 2 years), with previous roles as helper, tender, or packer preferred.
  • Knowledge of SPC, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronics is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and understanding of health and safety regulations.
