Job summary

Nu Build Contracting Inc. is seeking energetic workers for full-time, in-person roles in Northumberland County, Ontario. The team performs aerial telecom construction, pole work, and underground cable placement with strict adherence to safety and project plans.

Qualifications include a minimum of 2 years in aerial line construction, a valid DZ license with a clean abstract, and Working at Heights training. Union incentives and competitive wages accompany a great work environment.

Qualifications

• Up to date Working at Heights training.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with aerial devices.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle-mounted aerial devices equipment.
• Perform aerial telecom construction.
• Placement of poles and anchors.
• Placement of strand.
• Lashing Cable.
• Transferring telecom plant from old pole to new pole.
• Climbing of poles with spurs or ladder.
• Completing construction as per design laid out on plans.
• Placement of underground cable in duct.
• Completion of daily job specific paperwork.
• Organize work operations to ensure safety of yourself and people around the work area.

Nu Build Contracting is engaged on projects across Ontario involving directional drilling, trenching, aerial work, fiber splicing, internal piping, MDU wiring, hydro vac excavation, cabling maintenance and construction and replacement of underground wiring.
