Alto is seeking an Advisor, Strategic Development to support the strategy function and advance the high-speed rail project connecting Quebec City and Toronto. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Development, the Advisor, Strategic Development plays a key role in supporting Alto's strategy function and advancing the successful development of the project.
The Advisor coordinates Alto’s relationships with selected external institutional stakeholders, including academic institutions and experts, international authorities, and other strategic partners. By bringing together internal teams and external perspectives, the Advisor helps the organization benefit from emerging practices, lessons learned and broader points of view.
The role also helps ensure Alto's decisions, positioning, and key deliverables are grounded in rigorous analysis, aligned across functions, and supported by a clear policy rationale. Through research, analysis, synthesis, and cross-functional coordination, the Advisor contributes to addressing complex strategic questions, strengthening Alto's business case, and supporting evidence-based decision-making across the organization.
