Job summary

Novo is seeking an occupational injury management advisor to join its team. You will work in hybrid mode from our office in Quebec, Longueuil or Laval, advising employers on best practices after a professional injury and building client trust.

As part of a multidisciplinary CNESST-focused environment, you will handle diverse CNESST files, interact with various actors, and develop strategies for injury management and prevention within the employment relationship.

Qualifications

• Training in industrial relations, human resources or OHS.
• Microprogram in disability management or strategic OHS management is an asset.
• Knowledge of prevention mutuals is an asset.
• Excellent command of spoken and written French.
• Proficiency in English is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on management strategy following an occupational injury based on established processes and best practices.
• Evaluate eligibility and medico-administrative follow-up of professional injury files.
• Take charge of complex files with significant financial impacts.
• Support clients to maintain the employment relationship.
• Establish links between claims management, prevention and CNESST pricing; act as an employer representative with CNESST, DRA and TAT.

Well surrounded by our specialized multidisciplinary team, you will advise clients on the management strategy to adopt following an occupational injury based on established processes and best practices. Your mandates will offer you challenges to overcome thanks to the great diversity of CNESST files and the numerous interactions with the different actors involved.

Here is what your daily life will look like:

• Evaluate eligibility and carry out medico-administrative follow-up of professional injury files
• Take charge of complex and contentious files with significant financial impacts
• Support the clients in order to promote the maintenance of the employment relationship
• Advise clients by establishing links between claims management, prevention and pricing at the CNESST
• Act as an employer representative with the various organizations (CNESST, DRA and TAT)
