Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced actuarial professional in Mississauga to design and implement actuarial and business-analytic solutions. You will work with Commercial Lines and underwriting to translate analyses into actionable solutions, while developing policies through research and impact analyses.

The role requires five years of relevant experience, a CAS exam track record, and strong English proficiency. Proficiency in SAS/R/Radar/Emblem/VBA and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
• Five years of relevant experience minimum.
• Completion of at least five CAS exams.
• Advanced English proficiency due to duties and tools.
• Knowledge of P&C insurance.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SAS, Radar, Emblem, VBA and R.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, Mathematics or Statistics or in a related field
• A minimum of five years of relevant experience
• Successful completion of at least five CAS exams (Candidates with less experience and exams will still be considered)
• Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English‑speaking partners, members and/or clients
• Knowledge of P & C Insurance
