Windspeaker Media in Edmonton seeks a motivated Advertising Sales Representative to join our team. You will engage directly with the community, build meaningful business relationships, and develop advertising solutions that help local businesses increase visibility and reach.

The successful candidate will bring 1-3 years of outside sales experience—radio sales preferred—along with exceptional customer service, drive, and strong communication.

• 1-3 years of outside sales experience – Radio sales preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Driven, passionate and goal oriented.
• Capacity to work individually and as team player.
• Great communication skills, both oral and written.
• Good listener.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Negotiation Skills.
• Highly disciplined and self-motivated.
• Valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle.
• Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous Culture is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Developing new and existing direct accounts.
• Meet and exceed monthly radio revenue targets.
• Integrate with other departments within our organization.
• Meet and strategize with current and new potential customers.
• Develop ways to solve clients’ challenges.
• Provide daily call planning and reporting as required.
• Responsible for collections on personal sales.
• Represent Windspeaker Media with integrity, spirit, passion, respect and professionalism.
