A leader in bus and coach manufacturing is seeking an Advanced Product Quality Planning Technician in Winnipeg, Canada. This role involves overseeing quality planning for high-risk builds, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with quality specifications. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in quality control and at least 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment. The Advanced Product Quality Planning Technician will oversee quality planning for high-risk builds, ensuring actions are taken to prevent defects before line entry. This includes tracking progress through an issues matrix and collaborating with CPM, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and customers during preproduction meetings. The role also ensures alignment on New Flyer Testing and Product Quality specifications with customers before line entry.
This position requires 20% travel.
