Nurse Next Door Home Care Services is seeking a dedicated Footcare Nurse to perform in-home advanced footcare and follow personalized care plans. You will deliver compassionate, one-on-one care to clients in their homes across Ottawa, ensuring safety and accurate documentation.

The role requires 1 year of nursing footcare experience, an Advanced Medical Footcare Certificate, and English fluency. A valid CNO registration and ability to legally work in Canada are essential, with a driver’s license

Formación

• 1 year nursing experience providing footcare.
• Advanced Medical Footcare Certificate issued by a recognized body.
• Must communicate verbally and in writing in English.
• Proof of registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
• Current TB screening and Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide one-on-one, in-home advanced footcare.
• Follow the client care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Ensure client safety and proper use of equipment.
• Work within your experience and skills and practice safely.
• Complete records and documentation accurately.
• Maintain flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Provide one on one, in home, advanced footcare
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Flexible scheduling

Requirements

• 1 year previous nursing experience providing footcare
• Advanced Medical Footcare Certificate
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English, other languages are an asset
• Proof of registration with CNO
• Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector
• Must be able to legally work in Canada
• Valid driver’s license is preferred
