Job summary

Nurse Next Door Home Care Services in Ottawa is seeking compassionate home care nurses to provide one-on-one in-home nursing support to clients. You will implement care plans, monitor safety, and document care delivered with accuracy. A strong communicator in English and current CNO registration are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year previous nursing experience.
• Must communicate verbally and in writing in English, other languages are an asset.
• Proof of registration with CNO.
• Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector.
• Must be able to legally work in Canada.
• Valid driver's license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one on one, in home, nursing support.
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description.
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
• Flexible scheduling.
