Job summary

Champlain Rehab Solutions (CRS) is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess and treat diverse pediatric clients in homes and schools, coordinating with the care team to promote independence and align with CRS values. You will deliver evidence-based interventions and contribute to client-centered planning.

The role emphasizes collaboration, virtual care capability, and ongoing professional development within a supportive, inclusive environment in the Greater Ottawa area.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized school of Occupational Therapy.
• Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
• Valid Driver's License with access to a vehicle.
• Compassionate and empathetic.
• Self-driven with ability to work independently.
• Skilled in caseload management.
• Skilled at electronic documentation.
• Able to provide virtual care.
• A registered ADP authorizer (asset).

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide occupational therapy interventions in accordance with professional practice guidelines and standards.
• Implement client interventions based on assessment information and integrated care plan.
• Ensure services are best practice, evidence-based and evaluated with outcome measures.
• Coordinate delivery of care through ongoing communication with the client care team.
• Document all assessment findings, treatment plans, progress and discharge summaries.
• Support safe client care through continuous quality improvement.
