Job summary

Champlain Rehab Solutions (CRS) is seeking Occupational Therapists to join our Ottawa-based team. We provide client-centered home and community care, supporting clients, families, and providers with flexible schedules and strong team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Licensed OT with degree from an accredited program.
  • Active registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for home visits.

Responsibilities

  • Assesses and implements occupational therapy interventions per professional guidelines.
  • Implements client interventions based on assessment, input, and care plan.
  • Ensures services are evidence-based and outcomes are measured.
  • Coordinates care with the client’s team, schedule, and intervention plans.
  • Documents assessments, treatment plans, progress, and discharge summaries.
  • Supports continuous quality improvement in client safety and care.
  • Participates in weekend on-call roster within the region.

Education

Degree in Occupational Therapy
Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario

Pay Range

Estimated annual earning potential: $80,000 - $130,000

Actual earnings may vary based on availability and service volumes

We are seeking Occupational Therapists to join our team.

Key Areas of Accountability
  • Assesses and implements occupational therapy interventions in accordance with professional practice guidelines and standards established by VHA and the perspective regulatory college.
  • Implement client interventions based on assessment information, client input and in conjunction with the client’s integrated care plan.
  • Ensure that services provided are best practice, evidence-based and evaluated through the routine use of valid and reliable outcome measured.
  • Ensure coordinated delivery of care through ongoing communication with all members of the client’s team regarding plans and schedules for interventions.
  • Document all assessment findings, treatment plans, progress and discharge summaries of interventions as required by the profession, referral source and the organization.
  • Supports safe client care through the development of knowledge and skills in accordance with our principles of continuous quality improvement.
  • Participate in a weekend on-call roster within the geographical region to provide services based on client needs.
Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized school of Occupational Therapy.
  • Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Valid Driver’s License with access to a vehicle
  • Compassionate and empathetic
  • Self-driven with ability to work independently
  • Skilled in caseload management
  • Skilled at electronic documentation
  • Able to provide virtual care
  • A registered ADP authorizer (asset)
