Role Description

The Occupational Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Williamstown, ON, providing client-centered assessment, treatment, and evaluation across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting functional assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and supporting clients in achieving optimal independence in daily activities. The role involves collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, rehabilitation professionals, and community partners, to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services. The Occupational Therapist will educate clients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, adaptive strategies, and equipment use, while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to professional and organizational standards. Participation in quality improvement initiatives, student supervision, and ongoing professional development is expected to support service excellence and evidence-informed practice.
