Job summary

Keyin College in Springdale, NL is seeking an Adult Basic Education (ABE) Instructor to deliver courses and support adult learners toward program outcomes. The position is a contract role with daily classes from 9:00am to 3:30pm, totaling 25 hours of in-class instruction per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education with Math/Science/English specialization.

• Ability to organize work, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Experience in providing differentiated instruction.
• Ability to work independently in a remote or satellite environment.

Position Summary

Adult Basic Education (ABE) Instructors are responsible for delivering high-quality instruction that supports adult learners in achieving program outcomes and meeting regulatory requirements. Instructors engage learners through discussion, hands-on activities, and assessments while creating a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

Contract

• Till June 25, 2027
• 9:00am - 3:30pm - 25 hours of in-class instruction, based on a 30-hour work week
