Job summary

NFI Massachusetts Inc. seeks a Permanency Clinician for its adolescent residential program in Wilmington, MA.

You will manage a caseload of youth ages 13-18, assess readiness for reunification, develop permanency plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions in a team setting on-site and in home/community visits. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in social work or related field, license eligibility, and experience in congregate care or child/adolescent mental health.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Candidate must be license-eligible.
• LMHC, LMFT or LICSW preferred.
• Previous experience in congregate care or mental health preferred.
• Previous experience with child/adolescent population and their families preferred.
• Knowledgeable in human development, childhood trauma and permanency.
• Knowledgeable regarding DCF regulations, policies and practice.
• On call coverage as needed.
• Flexible schedule; primarily Mon–Fri with afternoons/evenings; weekend work may be necessary.
• Travel is required; valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Bilingual candidates are urged to apply.
• Excellent verbal, written, computer and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a quick-paced environment; strong team-building and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling as defined by each client's plan and facilitate permanency-related training.
• Collaborate with program management and staff on therapeutic milieu and clinical orientation.
• Facilitate family meetings and home visits as defined by treatment plan.
• Participate in permanency meetings, trainings, and clinical meetings.
• Coordinate and participate in case conferences, treatment meetings, and clinical reviews; know emergency procedures.
