CPA Ontario is currently in search of an Admissions Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting the administration, processing, and execution of applications from individuals who are members of international accounting bodies. You will have the opportunity to apply bylaws, regulations, policies, and procedures relating to Internationally Trained Accountants (ITAs) and Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRAs) in an environment that fosters customer service excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing
  1. Championing the intake and processing of applications relating to ITAs and MRAs, including student registration, and admission through agreements with accounting institutes and beyond.
  2. Responding to a high volume of emails and calls from students and applicants regarding student and admission programs.
  3. Preparing correspondence for current and potential members, students, and applicants, and materials for assessment meetings.
  4. Reviewing and updating membership management database to ensure data accuracy and integrity, and performing process improvements as needed.
  5. Processing and summarizing research findings and communicating with international accounting bodies and other provincial bodies when necessary.
Who You Are
  • A post-secondary graduate with a degree or diploma and at least 3 years of professional experience in a complex, rules-driven regulatory, membership, or customer service environment.
  • An organized administrator with excellent multi-tasking skills, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experienced with CRM systems like Salesforce; experience with Power BI is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat; eager to learn new technologies.
  • A personable communicator with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with negotiation abilities.
