Herzing College in Winnipeg is currently looking to hire an Admissions Advisor (Sales) who is energetic, motivated, organized and has a proven track record in sales.

This position is full-time in-person at the Winnipeg campus location.

As an Admissions Advisor, you will manage leads and be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions and registration process.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Contact all potential students interested in knowing or receiving information about the programs—including entrance requirements, curricula and academic standards—and encourage qualified prospects to schedule an appointment for an presentation.
• Interview and advise prospective students using a consultative approach, excellent sales and customer service skills to guide them through the admissions process, programs, job placement, funding and registration.
• Build and manage an active pipeline of opportunities.
• Actively participate in meetings to discuss performance, prospective applicants and strategies to continuously increase enrollment.
• Use CRM, Live Chat and other tools appropriately and in a timely manner to gather and input prospective student information.
• Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of all program offerings, government policies and procedures.
• Achieve enrollment targets and goals.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include: Word, Outlook and Excel.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong sales experience with proven track record.
• Post-secondary education required, Bachelor’s degree is an asset.
• Previous admissions experience helpful but not required.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and to be a self-starter.
