Job summary

Manitoba Blue Cross in Winnipeg is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support the Group Sales Team with new sales, ongoing client and advisor activities, and departmental initiatives. You will help manage monthly reports and other documentation, maintain advisor accounts, and assist in developing orientation materials for internal and external customers.

The position offers a hybrid work environment and opportunities for growth within a not‑for‑profit health benefits provider.

Qualifications

  • Dedicated to exceptional service and addressing customer needs for internal and external customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Post‑secondary degree, certificate, or diploma in Commerce, Business Administration, Business Analyst or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with sales support processes involving Group Sales department.
  • Prepare Sales Proposals.
  • Update department Confluence page.
  • Assist with monthly reports and documentation.
  • Maintain advisor accounts.
  • Post Plan Admin Guides and Custom Forms on the portal.
  • Participate in project teams for corporate and department projects.
  • Manage Client and Advisor contact lists for communications.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Coordinator works with Group Sales Team in regard to new sales, ongoing client and advisor activities, and departmental initiatives. Also manage departmental monthly reporting, as well as support the Account Executives and Service Representatives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assists with sales support processes involving Group Sales department.
  • Prepare Sales Proposals
  • Update department Confluence page
  • Assists with the preparation of monthly reports and other documentation as required.
  • Maintain advisor accounts
  • Post Plan Admin Guides and Custom Forms on mybluecross Plan Admin portal
  • Participates as a member of various project teams for corporate and department projects.
  • Manage Client and Advisor contact lists for required communications.
  • Manage large department client mailings in coordination with Mail and Office Services.
  • Manage Advisor Agreements
  • Assist in the development of orientation presentations for internal and external customers.
  • Manage Insurance Council of Manitoba (ICM) credits and reporting for Advisors
  • Other related duties as assigned.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES
  • Dedicated to the principles of exceptional service, committed to responding to, anticipating, and addressing customer needs, for both internal and external customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Post-secondary degree, certificate, or diploma in Commerce, Business Administration, Business Analyst or equivalent. An equivalent combination of education and 2-3 years experience in the insurance industry will be considered.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels within the organization in a team environment.
  • Knowledge group benefits industry (an asset)
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an unstructured environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, assess and provide options and make recommendations.
  • Self-directed, with exceptional organizational skills and a proven record of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks within varied and dynamic timelines on an ongoing basis.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point & Adobe Indesign
