Job description

Administrator, Diagnostic Imaging

works independently to gather and analyze information and communicate with partners and/or key stakeholders. This role is responsible for a broad range of activities related to the accreditation of medical facilities within the program-specified area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Gather and analyze a broad spectrum of information relating to:
    • Requirements and internal procedures from the initiation and completion of facility accreditation.
    • Equipment registration and re-certification.
    • Accreditation applications and supporting documentation.
  • Liaise and correspond with facility staff, physicians, medical directors, agencies, assessors and other key partners and/or stakeholders to:
    • Provide information on accreditation approval requirements and processes.
    • Ensure full and accurate records and documents are received for department and program processes.
    • Prepare and send correspondence for facilities related to accreditation reviews, approval status and department messaging.
    • Process financial transactions, including invoicing.
  • Establish and maintain accurate records relating to:
    • Program, department and CPSA-wide databases.
    • Financial transactions and payments.
    • Activities and steps relating to accreditation assessments.
    • Re-certification of designated equipment.
    • Committee SharePoint sites, including working directly with experts, facilities and Committee members to ensure and maintain appropriate access.
    • Facility profiles, including managing facility changes and notifying provincial government entities as appropriate.
    • Communication with partners and/or stakeholders and with CPSA Communications for web updates.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager on:
    • Incoming assessment documents and reports.
    • Report review and formatting.
    • Equipment registration.
  • Support the diagnostic imaging program through secretarial and administrative assistance, including active expert panel maintenance.
  • Provides administrative assistance to the accreditation department, as necessary.
  • Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Required Minimum Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma or Certificate program, in which administrative skills would typically be obtained.
    • 3 years of administrative experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
    • 1 year post-secondary
    • Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Familiarity with general medical terminology and healthcare services
    • Proficient and self-directed time management and organizational skills
    • Ability to multitask and perform as part of a team
    • Expertise with Microsoft 365 and Adobe products
    • Familiarity with assessment or inspection processes

Salary

The annual salary for this position is $69,342 and includes a comprehensive benefits package and pension plan.

During the 90-day probationary period, the successful candidate will be required to work from CPSA's downtown Edmonton office. At the conclusion of a successful probationary period, a hybrid work arrangement may be considered.

Please note that the successful candidate will be required to provide a Criminal Record Check satisfactory to CPSA.
