Mount Royal University’s Iniskim Centre is seeking an Administrative Assistant to manage communications and promotions. You will prepare and distribute an electronic newsletter twice a month, sourced from on- and off-campus information, and support events with promotion, supplies, and records.

About this Position
Working within the Iniskim Centre ,this is a flexible position whose work schedule is variable and may include an irregular schedule of not less than three (3) hours per shift and up to thirty-five (35) hours per week.
The Iniskim Centre Administrative Assistant is responsible for the administrative duties of the Iniskim Centre, particularly with communications and promotions. The primary task is to prepare and distribute an electronic newsletter twice per month, with information that is gathered and collected from organizations both on and off-campus. Secondary duties include event support, ordering supplies, and representing the Iniskim Centre at academic and cultural events.
The role of Administrative Assistant is critical for maintaining a high standard of professionalism within the Iniskim Centre. As a staff member, they are entrusted by the Indigenous community at MRU to make decisions that support student wellness and academic success.
Salary:$23.64 - $29.89 per hour
