Job Profile
The administrative assistant of the division is accountable to the Executive Assistant in Corporate Services Department and directly reports to their assigned Director(s). Working as the first contact for written and verbal inquiries from all internal and external contacts, the main function of this position is to provide positive and professional administrative support to ensure good customer service for internal and external customers. As the administrative assistant for the division the role provides strategic support to the Director (Division) as well as the service areas under their portfolio; (list service areas), to assist in creating a supportive and efficient team environment. This role has access to confidential corporate and human resource matters.
What you will be doing
Education
College Diploma in Business, Project Management Coordinator, Executive Assistant Program, Administrative Assistant Program, Office Administration Executive Program.
Experience and Knowledge
A minimum of one (1) year progressively responsible and diversified administrative experience, including project coordination/management skills, advanced MS Office skills, with a good understanding of financial principles. Public sector experience would be beneficial.

Worker Health and Safety Awareness Training certificate from the Ministry of Labour. (may be obtained post offer)
Your compensation
This position is within Grade 2 of the Non-Union Salary Schedule and has an annual salary range of $64,119 to $78,187. We offer a comprehensive benefit package and are an Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS) employer.
Hours of work
Hours of Work are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
