Job summary

Center Dentaire Amirault in Dieppe, NB is seeking an organized Dental Administrative Assistant to join our busy practice. You will welcome patients, manage check-in, scheduling, recalls, and file records to ensure a smooth patient flow.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of dental administration experience, is fluent in French and English, and familiar with dental software. Clinical background is a plus; we offer a collaborative team and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of Dental Administration experience is required.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is required.
  • Experience with dental software programs is required.
  • Clinical background is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist patients upon arrival, creating a warm and positive first impression.
  • Optimize the daily appointment schedule to ensure full utilization with minimal gaps.
  • Effectively manage the recall system and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records.
  • Handle incoming patient calls and inquiries, including appointment scheduling, confirmations, changes, and cancellations.
  • Process referral letters and other patient correspondence from providers; organize, manage and file all patient records and charts.
  • Proactively manage potential cancellations and address objections to encourage patients to keep their appointments.
  • Complete patient billing following treatment, process payments, submit insurance claims, and respond to fee inquiries in a professional and positive manner.

Your Role
