This is an exciting opportunity to join our Infrastructure & Renewable Resources (I&RR) department and provide administrative support to our growing global team of 50+ based across Victoria, Vancouver, London, and Mumbai. The role focuses on travel-related tasks, as well as supporting ongoing projects and events throughout the year. Department Description

On behalf of BCI’s clients, the Infrastructure & Renewable Resources (I&RR) team invests globally in infrastructure assets and businesses that provide stable long-term investment returns. The portfolio has $28+ billion in AUM and ranks as the ninth largest institutional infrastructure investor globally. It spans sectors including energy, transport, utilities, data infrastructure, timberland, and agriculture.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the EVP & Global Head, the Administrative Assistant performs a range of administrative functions to support the global I&RR department, with a focus on travel and expenses management.

The role requires effectiveness in a fast-paced environment, adaptability to changing priorities, and high accuracy and attention to detail.

What You Bring
  • Post-secondary education with 2-3 years of administrative support experience
  • Ability to multitask, adapt, and meet deadlines with a service-oriented approach
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Team player with a practical, responsible, and results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to foster positive relationships internally and externally
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience managing complex travel itineraries
  • Preferred: experience in a corporate setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and other office software
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate travel bookings and manage expenses
  • Stay informed on travel risks, restrictions, and documentation
  • Support departmental communications and event planning
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain department subscriptions and data
  • Provide mutual administrative coverage with the EVP Admin team
Work Location

Downtown Victoria office.

Salary Range

CAD $58,000 - $65,000, with a competitive benefits package including health & dental, pension, and paid time off.
