FTE:0Status:CasualAbout the RoleThe Clinical Administration team supports the organization through direct and indirect assistance across clinical and business departments. The team also provides external, public-facing support to CASA patients and families through multiple avenues.The Administrative Assistant will:- Develop an understanding of CASA’s programs and the associated referral processes to best support patients and their families.
- Greet guests, patients and their families, and liaise with staff to coordinate arrivals and direct families.
- Book appointments, make confirmation calls and register new patients.
- Check patients in upon arrival and update demographic data.
- Respond to phone inquiries, direct calls to the appropriate persons and take accurate messages.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work space.
- Perform general office administration duties such as photocopying, printing, mailing, facility opening and closing, etc.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Manager, Clinical Administration.
Qualifications- Two years of relevant administrative or customer service experience is preferred.
- Successful completion of medical office assistant and/or business administration program is preferred.
- High school diploma.
- Experience in a health care setting is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- High level of accuracy with data entry.
- Attention to detail and ability to appropriately prioritize work.
