Job Description - Admin Assistant

Infinity Health is seeking an experienced Admin Assistant to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our Calgary office running smoothly by providing administrative support to our healthcare team and ensuring an organized, efficient environment. We're looking for someone who's interested in a long-term opportunity with room for growth and development within a supportive workplace.

Role Responsibilities

  • Managing all incoming and outgoing faxes
  • Monitoring emails and mail, flagging urgent issues
  • Answering and screening phone calls, prioritizng and responding appropriately
  • Communicating with fee payers, including private-pay clients
  • Preparing Clinical Record Requests and Statements of Account
  • Supporting our team of healthcare practitioners and the Billing Department
  • Following up on outstanding accounts receivable
  • Adding, updating, scanning, and uploading client files to our system
  • Order and maintain office supplies

Qualifications

  • Post secondary education in Administrative, Business, Finance or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of administrative experience, including billing and office management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks (or similar)
  • Strong verbal communication and phone etiquette
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on professionalism and respect
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Access to a reliable vehicle
  • Based in Calgary, Alberta
  • Previous experience in healthcare administration or accounting related roles is an asset
