Interior Health is recruiting for an exciting new medical leadership opportunity as the Medical Director for the new Kamloops North Shore Urgent & Primary Care Centre slated to open in September 2024.
The Medical Director, Kamloops North Shore Urgent & Primary Care Centre (Urgent/Episodic) is a physician and leader who works to achieve a collaborative working relationship between physicians and administration based on the “One IH” culture and its objectives. While reporting to the Executive Medical Director, Primary and Community Care, the Medical Director will work within a collaborative framework to lead the development of professional standards, protocols, and policies for medical care.
Please note to effectively fulfill the duties of the role, the Medical Director, Kamloops North Shore Urgent & Primary Care Centre is expected to actively provide clinical services under the Kamloops North Shore Urgent & Primary Care Centre Group Clinical Service Contract for a minimum average of 4 hours per week during the Term of this Contract, in addition to the 3.75 hours per week as the Medical Director.
