Job summary

Netsmart USA is seeking a System Administrator/Analyst to maintain and support client IT environments, ensuring reliability, security, and high performance. This hands-on role focuses on troubleshooting, implementing solutions, and direct collaboration with clients to enhance day-to-day operations.

You will manage Azure, Intune, Entra ID/Azure AD, Microsoft 365, and virtualization platforms while contributing to cybersecurity posture and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in systems and network administration.
• Strong background in Microsoft cloud and on-prem technologies.
• Solid cybersecurity best practices knowledge.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client environments and priorities.
• Class 5 driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Must reside in Edmonton or surrounding area.
• Canadian resident or citizen eligible to work in Canada.
• Must speak, read, and write English fluently.
• AI knowledge.
• Familiarity with enterprise-grade networking and security hardware.
• Knowledge of Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti Unifi, and Fortinet devices is a plus.
• Possibly maintain and optimize virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware).
