Job summary

SAIT's Continuing Education and Professional Studies (CEPS) invites an adjunct instructor to deliver H2S Alive training at the Calgary Correctional Centre. The position runs Monday to Friday during the project window, with approximately 2-day courses and up to 4 hours per day, about 10 courses annually.

Local authorization and a Police Information Check are required. The role is on-site in Calgary, with an end date of August 31, 2027, and multiple candidates may be considered.

Qualifications

• Local authorized H2S Alive Provider.
• Police Information Check required as part of onboarding.
• In-person training on site at Calgary Correctional Centre (CCC).

Responsibilities

• Deliver H2S Alive training on site at CCC, Calgary, AB.
• Coordinate with SAIT CEPS and Alberta Education partners to schedule courses.

The Opportunity:

SAIT has partnered with the Solicitor General and Alberta Advanced Education to deliver H2S Alive Training at Calgary Correctional Centre (CCC). This instructional opportunity to scheduled to deliver in-person training on site at CCC.

The tentative start date is November 2026 to August 2027

Programing will run Monday to Friday (with the exception of Statutory holidays), 2-day course / max 4 hours per day

Approximately 10 courses per year

The ideal candidate would be a local authorized H2S Alive Provider.

Police Information Check is required as part of the onboarding process
