Job summary

Geosam Capital is seeking a maintenance worker to support building upkeep and assist various production departments. The role includes deliveries to subcontractors, goods receiving and shipping, and maintaining the two buildings with routine cleaning and snow removal.

The position requires a DES or high school diploma, at least one year of experience, and fluency in French (intermediate to advanced). A class 5 driving license is required, with a 40-hour work week on day shifts at our Longueuil

Qualifications

• High school diploma (DES).
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience.
• Oral / written French: intermediate to advanced.
• Hold a class 5 driving license.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries to subcontractors and various company commissions.
• General maintenance of two buildings (emptying trash cans, toilets, floors, snow removal, and other upkeep).
• Participate in goods receiving and shipping activities.
• Wash produced parts.
• Maintain the 3D printing machine.
• Visual inspections of cleanliness.
• Prepare parts for painting.
• Clean and remove masking from painted parts.
• Support work in packaging and finishing operations.
• Carry out related tasks associated with finishing operations.

Job description

The maintenance worker is primarily responsible for building upkeep. He or she also provides support to the various production departments.

Task description main tasks

• Make deliveries to subcontractors as well as various commissions for the company.

• Ensure general maintenance of the two buildings (emptying trash cans, maintaining toilets, cleaning floors, clearing snow from entrances and other maintenance work necessary).

• Participate in goods receiving and shipping activities.

• Carry out washing of produced parts.

• Perform maintenance of the 3D printing machine.

Secondary tasks

• Perform visual inspections of cleanliness.

• Prepare parts for painting.

• Clean and remove masking from painted parts.

• Perform various support work in packaging and other areas

• Perform any other related tasks related to finishing operations.

Skills and qualifications:

• High school diploma (DES)

• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience.

• Oral / written French: intermediate to advanced

• Hold a class 5 driving license
