Job summary
CIeNET Canada is seeking a Software Quality Assurance and Automation Test Engineer for ADAS Controllers to define, implement, execute, and maintain test plans and automation test infrastructure. You will collaborate with software developers, requirements engineers and program managers throughout the product lifecycle to ensure high-quality software delivery.
The role emphasizes automation and efficient test infrastructure, with exposure to CAN/Ethernet, INCA/CANoe, and AI-assisted testing tools.
Qualifications
- Two+ years in embedded software testing and automation in automotive domain
- Proficient in Python and test automation
- Ability to write automation test scripts
- Experience with CAN/Ethernet protocols and test tools
- Experience with Calibration/Validation development
- Experience with INCA/CANoe/Vetor CANalyzer/Vspy
- Troubleshoot controller test issues on HIL bench
- Strong troubleshooting and test automation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Team player with quick learning ability
Responsibilities
- Execute black box test cases to validate ADAS controller functions
- Automate test cases and infrastructure to improve productivity
- Maintain and improve test documentation during and after testing
- Troubleshoot and investigate automated test and controller issues
- Proactively anticipate problems and propose solutions
- Prepare test results and reports meeting industry standards
- Modify calibration or test scripts to meet validation requirements
- Develop and use test scripts and automation
- Utilize AI tools in testing activities
