Job summary

Adacel in Montreal, Quebec, is seeking a QA Engineer who designs, develops, and maintains automated testing solutions for our real-time air traffic simulation products. You will bridge manual QA and automation, collaborating with software engineering teams to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software/computer engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years in software development, testing, QA, or related work.
• Knowledge of test cases, scripts, defect reporting, and regression testing.
• Exposure to automated testing tools and scripting languages.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux OS.
• Experience with real-time/safety-critical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain automated test scripts and support test software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and build test suites.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to software development best practices.
• Assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing software tests.
