Job summary

Ford of Canada is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to verify and validate ADAS software across multiple test modalities. You will develop test plans and automated scripts, define test setups, and support tooling enhancements while collaborating with engineering teams in an agile environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least 5 years in software test engineering, plus 1 year in driver assistance technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer/Electrical/Software or related field).
Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Test Engineering.
Minimum 1 year experience with Driver Assistance technologies using radar, cameras, sensors, or features.
Experience with test automation, verification and validation activities.

Responsibilities

Lead and conduct verification and validation of ADAS software.
Develop test procedures, plans, automated scripts, and cases.
Define test setups and required equipment, tools, licenses, hardware, test systems.
Identify test dependencies across specifications, interfaces and components.
Drive automation opportunities and tooling enhancements.
Perform automated and manual test execution, analysis, and root cause verification.
Collaborate in agile scrum with cross-functional teams.
